CBHS was set up to source international care & surgery

Established in 2018, CBHS has assisted healthcare commissioners and hospitals to find additional surgery and medical capacity in other countries providing best-in-class services primarily in Scandinavia and elsewhere in Europe.

  • Help healthcare commissioners meet their waiting list targets.

  • Help surgery providers ensure capacity is used.

  • Help patients get treated quicker with care of the highest quality.

We are developing working relationships with the emerging centers of excellence for stem cell therapies, which offer the prospect of non-surgical solutions for a wide range of conditions.

More recently during the COVID-19 pandemic, CBHS has focused on providing consultancy and practical support to international health sourcing and supply.

Facilitating ventilator sourcing

CPAP ventilators have proved to play a vital role in COVID-19 response

Few people need ICU grade ventilation, requiring intubation and anaesthetization. The survival rate is poor

Some mild conditions may be alleviated by the use of simple sleep apnoea machines at home

But many people with moderate COVID-19 symptoms can be stabilized or alleviated by the use of medical-grade portable ventilators which provide Continuous Positive Air Pressure (CPAP) and spontaneous breathing modes.

The use of portable CPAP ventilators in hospitals or care homes will prevent progression to needing advanced ventilator support and relieve pressure on ICU's

Alongside our commercial activities, we have made donations on our own behalf and facilitated donations for others, to countries less able to purchase this vital equipment
